Pustula obtusata, Goatsbeard White Rust, is an oomycete plant pathogen unrelated to fungal organisms.
Albugo tragopogonis is the old but illegitimate name for Pustula obtusata[1], the causal agent of white blister disease on goatsbeard (Tragopogon spp.). This name has often been misapplied to the sunflower white blister pathogen.
