The Putna River is a right tributary of the river Moldova in Romania.[1] It is formed at the confluence of two headwaters Putna Mică and Pârâul Roșu (or Putna Mare). It discharges into the Moldova in Pojorâta.

Tributaries

The following rivers are tributaries to the river Putna:

  • Left: Putna Mică, Chiril, Putnișoara, Șandru
  • Right: Pârâul Roșu (or Putna Mare), Văcăria, Iacob, Tiniș, Pârâul Frumos (or Frumosu), Cârstea
