Qohestan District

Qohestan District (Persian: بخش قهستان) is a district (bakhsh) in Darmian County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 15,295, in 4,349 families.[1] The District has one city Qohestan which is the capital of Qohestan District. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Fakhrud Rural District and Qohestan Rural District.
