The Râul Mare is a left tributary of the river Strei in Romania. It discharges into the Strei in Sântămăria-Orlea. It starts at the confluence of headwaters Șes and Lăpușnicul Mare, at present in Lake Gura Apelor. The Gura Apelor Dam is constructed on the Râul Mare.
