R. Roberts (full name and dates of birth and death unknown) was an English cricketer. Roberts' batting style is unknown.

Roberts made a single first-class appearance for the Surrey Club against the Marylebone Cricket Club at The Oval in 1848.[1] In a match which the Marylebone Cricket Club won by 42 runs, Roberts batted once, scoring 7 runs in the Surrey Club's first-innings, before he was dismissed by Charles Harenc.[2] This was his only appearance in first-class cricket.
