Raigad District Central Co-operative Bank
Appearance
The Raigad District Central Co-Operative Bank was established on 30 September 1960. The Reserve Bank of India granted a banking license to Raigad DCC on 11 November 1995. Jayant Prabhakar Patil (MLC) took charge of the bank as chairman in 1997.[1]
Financial performance
In 2015 the total deposits were around ₹1,731 crore (US$210 million) and the total loans ₹893 crore (US$110 million).[citation needed]
Products and Services
- Bank has two products: loans and deposits.
- Bank gives services such as safe deposit boxes, insurance (Birla Sun Life Insurance), MSEB Bill Center, RTGS and National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT).
- Bank has its ATM at various locations.
- It is the first District Cooperative Central Bank to issue Kisan Credit Card in India which launched on 18 May 2013.[2]
Awards and Recognitions
- Sahakar Nishtha award from the Government of Maharashtra-Co.operative department for the effective contribution towards co-operation in the state.
- RDCC Bank has won the S.H.G.(Bachat Gat) formation and credit Linkage award for both Maharashtra and Konkan region in November 2012.
- Bank has been awarded the Vaikunthbhai Mehta Award for five consecutive years by Maharashtra state Co-Op. banks association limited, Mumbai.
- Winner of Konkan Region Best District Co.Op.Bank by Padmashree Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil foundations.
- Only D.C.C. Bank in Konkan region to win state level Yuvakmudra Award for four successive years from 1997–98 to 2000-01.
- Winner of Arthaved Award from Marathi Vruttapatra Lekh Sangh.
- Pradeep Naik, the bank's CEO has been awarded a Frontiers in Co.Op.Banking Awards in District central Co-Op. Bank category in the year 2012–13.
- Achieved Letter of Honor for pursuing the economic standards in the year 2009–2010 by The Maharashtra State Co-Op. Bank Limited, Mumbai.
