Rachida Krim

Rachida Krim (born 1955) is a French filmmaker of Algerian descent.[1]

Life

Rachida Krim was born in France, to a family from Western Algeria who had some involvement in the National Liberation Front. After graduation she became a painter. In 1992 she traveled to Algeria to make her first film, Fatiha. Her film Sous les pieds des femmes examined personal memories of the Algerian War.[2]
