Radha Modgil is a medical doctor and media personality.
Modgil studied at University of Cambridge gaining an MA[citation needed] and qualified as a doctor at Imperial College London.[citation needed] She worked for five years in hospital medicine in London and then trained for a further two years to qualify as a GP.[citation needed] Modgil continues to practice as an NHS GP, as well as teaching and working in health promotion.[citation needed]
Modgil is the co-host for BBC Radio 1's The Surgery every Wednesday.[citation needed] She was the resident GP for Live with Gabby on CH5 and also for Newsround CBBC.[citation needed] She appeared as the medical reporter & presenter for The Sex Education Show Ch4 (series 1-5) and Make My Body Younger BBC3 (Series 1-2).[citation needed]

Modgil has contributed to several radio stations, most noticeably BBC Radio 1, joining in January 2013 and then becoming the resident weekly doctor in July 2013 joining Aled Haydn Jones on the programme.
