Raisinghnagar is a town and a municipality in Sri Ganganagar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.[2] The town is surrounded by fertile land.[citation needed]

Demography

In the 2011 India census, the town of Raisinghnagar had a population of 28,330. Males constituted 53.25% (15085) of the population and females 46.75% (13245). In 2011, Raisinghnagar had an average literacy rate of above 72.08% (20423).[3]

Economy

The economy of Raisinghnagar is dependent on agriculture in the surrounding area.

Religion

Most people of Raisinghnagar practice Hinduism or Sikhism.

Climate

The climate of Raisinghnagar varies to extreme limits. The summer temperature reaches up to 50° Celsius and winter temperature dips just around −1° Celsius. The average annual rainfall is above 40 centimetres (16 in).

Places of interest

Raisinghnagar has a well-known temple to raamsa peer temple,(fojuwala), & Shiva, a Hanuman mandir (temple) and Romana park. An ancient temple of Bhagwan Satynarayan established by Bikaner Riyasat Maharaja with Devi Mandir.

In 1992 an other changes in city. A large yagya held by Sant parkhar ji Maharaj and established a Sanskrit college, in that decision On July 12, 1992 started Dharmasangha Sanskrit mahavidyalya .

Raisinghnagar is also known for coaching of competitions exams. Students from all over India come here to get coaching at Dhingra Classes which is name of trust of thousands of selected students.[4] [5]
