Gold medal – first place 1980 Moscow Team Competition

Ravinder Pal Singh is a former Indian field hockey player. He was part of the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in 1980 Summer Olympics at Moscow.[1] He retired from the game because of pain in the spine. Apart from hockey he enjoys playing football. He lives with his family in Lucknow. He is single, never married. He has worked in State Bank of India, Lucknow as P.O. and took voluntary retirement. His father is Ritu Pal Singh. He has one elder sister, Saraswati Devi, and elder brother Rajendra Pal Singh.
