Ray O. Pleasant (born April 22, 1928) is an American politician in the state of Minnesota. He was born in Jetmore, Kansas. He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1973 to 1980 as an Independent Republican member, representing district 39B.[1] He was the second African-American to be elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives, and the first since the election of John Francis Wheaton in 1899.[2]
