Peter Steele

Peter Steele born January 4th, 1962, is the lead singer of and a bassist for the goth metal band Type O Negative.

Steele's bass voice sets much of the mood for Type O Negative's brooding melodies.

In 1999 he posed for explicit nude photographs for the women's adult magazine Playgirl.

Steele has mentioned Paul McCartney as one of his "all-time heroes", noting that McCartney is particularly accomplished at simultaneously playing bass and singing without compromising the quality of either act.
