Rhombonotus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). It is known from Queensland, Australia. There is currently only one recognized species, R. gracilis. R. similis from Sumatra was transferred to genus Ligonipes.[1]

Name

The genus name is derived from Ancient Greek ρομβος "rhombus" and notos "back". The species name is from Latin gracilis "slender".
