Richard S. "Dick" Lyon (October 23, 1924 – September 23, 1976)[1][2] was an American football player and coach. Lyon was the sixth head football coach at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. He held that position for nine seasons, from 1958 until 1966. His coaching record at Ithaca was 49–20.[3]
