Rob McKittrick (born August 31, 1973) is an American filmmaker whose directorial debut was the 2005 independent film Waiting..., starring Ryan Reynolds.[1][2] He also wrote the sequel to the film, Still Waiting... (2009).

Biography

McKittrick grew up in Bradenton, Florida and graduated from Bayshore High School in 1991. Following high school, he attended Manatee Community College. While working jobs in multiple restaurants in the 1990s, McKittrick conceived the original concept for Waiting... based on his experiences in the restaurant business.[3] He also appeared in an episode of "To Tell the Truth".

In 2009, he was brought onboard by Universal to develop Jay Baruchel's project based on his Johnny Klutz character.[4]

McKittrick currently lives in Hollywood Hills, California.
