Leet is a language often used on the Internet by hackers, hacker wanna-bes and gamers. "leet" is a shortened form of "elite" or "eleet". Leet is characterized by substitution of numbers and symbols for letters (ie leet = "1337", Wiki="^/!|{!", hacker = haxor = "#4><0|2".) The term sometimes refers to the practice of using "z" instead of a final "s": warez, skillz, dogz, etc.
