Robert Arthur Ramsay (December 3, 1973 – August 4, 2016) was a professional baseball pitcher. He pitched parts of two seasons, 1999 and 2000, in Major League Baseball for the Seattle Mariners.

Ramsay attended Washington State University, where he played college baseball for the Washington State Cougars from 1993 to 1996.[1]

Ramsay was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 7th round of the 1996 Major League Baseball Draft.[2] The Red Sox traded him to the Mariners for Butch Huskey on July 26, 1999.[2] Ramsay was diagnosed with cancer, ending his professional career.[citation needed] Ramsay spent much of his retirement coaching and teaching. Ramsay died on August 4, 2016.[3]
