Sir Robert Alexander Talma Stheeman CB (born 7 June 1959) is chief executive officer of the Debt Management Office.[1] He went to Germany in his gap year, staying longer than intended. Stheeman then moved back to the UK in 1988 and is married with four children.[2]

On 31 December 2015, Stheeman was knighted in the 2016 New Year Honours for services to UK Government Debt Management.
