Maurice Ronald "Ron" Buchan MBE (1908–2003) was a New Zealand international lawn bowler.[1]
He competed in the first World Bowls Championship in Kyeemagh, New South Wales, Australia in 1966 [2] and won a gold medal in the fours with Norm Lash, Gordon Jolly and Bill O'Neill at the event.[3]
He was inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame[4] and was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 1986 Birthday Honours.[5] He died in 2003.[6]
