Rosella Rice (11 August 1827 - 6 June 1888) was an American author, born in Perrysville, Ashland County, Ohio. She wrote much for Arthur’s Home Magazine, under her own name as well as Pipsissiway Potts, Pipsy Potts and Chatty Brooks. She also wrote a biography of Johnny Appleseed.
