The rufous-breasted chat-tyrant (Ochthoeca rufipectoralis) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and heavily degraded former forest.
