Bobby Collins was the coach of the Southern Methodist University's football team from 1982 to 1986. He compiled a 43–14–1 record, and was succeeded by Forrest Gregg. Though Collins himself was not sanctioned by the NCAA, he lost his job as a result of the Southern Methodist University football scandal that resulted in the Death penalty.[1]
