Sahasram (Malayalam: സഹസ്രം) is a 2010 Malayalam film directed by director Dr. Janardhanan, starring Suresh Gopi, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Bala, Sarayu and Sandhya in the lead roles. Later in 2013 the film was dubbed in Tamil as Ruthravathy.

Plot

Suresh Gopi plays an I.P.S. officer by the name Sahasranamam. The film tells a murder mystery that has been set in the cinema world. During the shooting of a film, the villain of that film is killed under suspicious circumstances. As he would also be the son of the ruling minister, stories start to spread regarding the death. Now, Sahasranaman I.P.S. is given the charge of the investigation, to solve the murder mystery.

The film mainly received positive reviews, and became an above-average hit at the box office.
