Salempur Rajputana, also called simply Salempur is integrated part Nagar Nigam/Municipal Corporation of Roorkee in Haridwar district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is very near to posh area of Roorkee, Ramnagar. Salempur Rajputana is famous for its industrial area. Canara Bank has a branch in Salempur Rajputana.

History

Salempur was the part of Saharanpur district before Haridwar district came into existence on 28 December 1988. From 28 December 1988 to 2016 Salempur rajputana was a village near Roorkee city. But in 2016 Roorkee became Nagar Nigam and Salempur was acquired by the nagar nigam.
