Samantha Gonsalves (born 10 October 1996), better known by her stage name Samantha J, is a Jamaican model and singer-songwriter signed to Columbia Records. She is known for her 2013 hit, "Tight Skirt", which has topped international charts.[2] She released an international single in 2015 called "League of My Own" featuring Dej Loaf.[4]
Samantha Gonsalves was born in Kingston, Jamaica.[1][5] She resides in Saint Ann Parish and attends the Heinz Simonitsch School in Saint James Parish.[1] She was discovered by the Si Mi Yah Agency, while attending a model & talent casting in Ocho Rios.[2]
