Sandals Church is a local church in Riverside, California, United States that was founded by Matt Brown[1] in 2001[2] when he was 26 years old.[3] It is a nondenominational Christian church with an average attendance of 3000.[4] In 2006, the church had a membership of 1700.[5] T.J. O'Donnell, a pastor at the church, was commissioned by Brown to plant another church, which became 777 Church, also in Riverside.[6] Sandals Church is very involved in missions in Mexico.[7] Heather Veitch, a former stripper who became a Christian in 2000, was attending Sandals Church when she founded JC's Girls with the help of Brown.[8] As of 2008, JC's Girls was using Sandals Church as its home base.[9] The church gave the JC's Girls a budget of $10,000 in 2005 and a budget of $50,000 in 2006.[10]
