Sangjwa is a Korean military rank used by the armed forces of North Korea. The insignia for a sangjwa is a shoulder board containing two stripes and three stars. This is influenced by the former colonel insignia of the Soviet Union.

North Korea also maintains a senior colonel rank known as taejwa.
