Saranga Disasekara (Sinhala: සාරංග දිසාසේකර) (born 1 January 1983) is a Sumathi Awards winning Sri Lankan actor, singer, model and a host by profession. Saranga was awarded the popular actor award at Sumathi awards 2011.[2] Saranga made his acting debut with Nil Diya Yahana[3](2008)

Personal life

Saranga Disasekara was born in Kalubowila, Sri Lanka, to renowned singer Narada Disasekara and Tileka Ranasinghe. He completed school life in Thurstan College, Colombo 07. He is now married fellow Sri Lankan actress Umali Thilakaratne on 2014.

Career

His debut film was Nil Diya Yahana along with Chathurika Peries, Tony Ranasinghe, Chandani Seneviratne, Roshan Pilapitiya, and Sanath Gunathilake, which was directed by the Dayaratne Ratagedara.[4]
