Sargana

Sargana (Urdu: سرگانہ) is a Punjabi tribe. Main settlement of the tribe is in Rachnavi region. Sargana Are Situated Mainly in Different Parts of Punjab Province of PAKISTAN Mainly Khanewal. Well knowned areas are Dandi Sargana, Barrhjhan Sargana, Kund Sargana, Arouti & Bagar Sargana.Baghri sargana, Rustam sargana.

Rachnavi is the area between the Ravi and Chenab rivers so the people living in the delta and their language are also called Rachnavi. This tribe is mostly dominant in district Jhang and Khanewal in south Punjab. Sargana is one of 27 clans of Sial tribe which itself is a clan of Jatt and Rajput status. The Most prominent of these clans reside in Bagar Sargana which is located at a distance of approx 50 km from the city of Khanewal. The prominent figures of the Sargana clan are Saeed Ahmed Sargana (former dep. chairman NAB), Abdul Qadir Sargana(retd.
