Satapathy(Odia: ଶତପଥୀ)is an Indian surname, found among Utkala Brahmins of Odisha.[1] Alternative spellings include Satpathi, "Satpathy" and Shatapathy. At Western part of Odisha we found a large family in the surname of Bedbak. Actually Bedbak's real surname is Satpathy. All Bedbak's are actually one family and they are belongs to Satpathy family of Puri, Odisha.
