Scaptesyle equidistans is a moth in the Arctiidae family. It was described by Lucas in 1890. It is found in Australia,[1] where it has been recorded from Queensland and New South Wales.

The wingspan is about 25 mm. The forewings are black with four yellow bands. The hindwings are yellow with a broad black border.[2]
