Aydilek is a talented left winger. Aydilek joined Birmingham City in 2007 after academy coach Terry Westley managed to convince him that moving to England was better for his career. He was a youth team member of home town club Eintracht Frankfurt

AS Monaco of France wanted to take the player on trial when he was with Eintracht Frankfurt and offered Yugoslavian player Stefan Milojevic.

In August 2008 Aydilek got a squad number he holds the number 24 shirt in the ranks. He was also named in the Carling Cup trip to Southampton in the second round.
