Shane Proctor is an American professional bull rider. He was born on March 24, 1985 in Grand Coulee, Washington. He is of English descent on his father's side. He currently resides in Mooresville, North Carolina with his wife. Apart from being a bull rider, he is also a bareback and saddle bronc rider. Proctor competes on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) circuits. He also competed in the Championship Bull Riding (CBR) tour. He is the 2011 PRCA world champion bull rider. He is also one of the most talented bull riders in the PBR. Proctor has qualified for the PRCA's National Finals Rodeo four times (2011–13 and 2015) in bull riding and the PBR World Finals eight times (2006, 2008–11, 2013 and 2015-16). He is 2-time PBR world champion J.B. Mauney's brother-in-law, being married to Mauney's sister, Jessi. Proctor is currently sponsored by Cinch Jeans & Shirts, Corral Boots, Kawasaki and MGM Grand.[1]
