Shinka is a small village near Jalalia village in Hazro Tehsil, Attock District, Punjab province of Pakistan. Nearby are Behbudi, Ghorghushti town, Malak Mala and Nartopa. The Area is considered to be arable land and good soil for farming.

People were settlers that came from Afghanistan. mostly consisting of people speaking Pashto Language. Hindko is another language spoken openly in this area. Most of them are Pashtuns and they consist of different tribes. Main tribes are Khankhel, Showkhel, Karamkhel, Ajakhel, Babukhel, Akakhel and Torakhel.

Agriculture is the main source of income in this area, whereas services and other sectors are less accounted for. Many families have emigrated overseas for work, settling in such disparate places as Hong Kong, the Central Valley of California, and in the cities of Bradford and Birmingham in England.
