Siedlec [ˈɕɛdlɛt͡s] (German: Zelz, also Selc) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Trzebiel, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-west of Trzebiel, 26 km (16 mi) west of Żary, and 63 km (39 mi) south-west of Zielona Góra.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
