Skatval Church (Norwegian: Skatval kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Stjørdal municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Skatval. It is the church for the Skatval parish which is part of the Stjørdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1901 by the architect Johan Th. Wæhre. The church seats about 500 people.[1][2]

History

This church was built to replace the Old Skatval Church which was built in 1767 until it was demolished in 1901. That previous church was built in 1767 to replace the historic Auran Church and Fløan Church.[3]
