The top twelve nations in the men's and women’s halfpipe FIS points list are entitled to a quota of one athlete in the respective event, the top twelve nations in the men’s and top eight in the women's ski halfpipe FIS points list are also entitled to a quota of one athlete in the respective event. Finally, the four remaining places each for men and women per event will be distributed with a maximum of one male or female athlete per nation, amongst the nations not yet qualified. This means 60 quota spots are available.[2] The final quota spots were released on May 13, 2011 and are subject to change.[3]
