"Soleil, soleil" performed by Géraldine Olivier was the winning song in the Swiss preselection to the Eurovision Song Contest 1992. When it was disqualified, the first runner up, "Mister Music Man", was selected to represent Switzerland instead.

Recorded with English lyrics under the title Soley, Soley, the song had been a number one hit in many countries for the Scottish band Middle of the Road in 1971.[1]
