"Something Good"
Song

"Something Good" is a house music song released by Utah Saints in 1992. It was first included as the lead song on a seven-track EP titled Something Good, then later included on the Utah Saints album. "Something Good" is an aggressive house track which very prominently contains a vocal sample from Kate Bush's "Cloudbusting" (originally appearing on her 1985 album Hounds of Love). Issued as a single, the track hit number four in the UK Singles Chart as well as number seven on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart. The BBC used the song during its coverage of the Opening Ceremony of the Barcelona Olympic Games of 1992, and was also used for Carlton Television's pre-launch trailer.

In 2008, "Something Good" was remixed and released as "Something Good '08". Bush's vocal sample was re-recorded by former Pop Idol contestant and West End singer/actress Davina Perera and is still the focal point of the song and a new music video was filmed for the new version. It was released on CD on 17 March 2008. The remix entered the top 10 on downloads alone, and climbed to number eight upon physical release, their first top 20 hit in fifteen years.[1] The video won the category for Best Dance Video at the UK Music Video Awards 2008.[2]
