Somtochukwu Alan Udochukwu Boniface (born 11 March 2006) is an English footballer who plays as a full-back for Premier League club Chelsea.

Club career

Born in London, Boniface joined Chelsea at the age of nine. He had played as a left-back, or left wing-back.[3][4] Boniface signed his first professional contract with Chelsea in March 2023.[5] He was named the club's Academy Scholar of the Year for the 2022–23 season.[6]

International career

Boniface has represented England at under-16, under-17 and under-18 level.[7] He was a member of the squad that finished fifth at the 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.[8]

Boniface is also eligible to represent Nigeria through his family.[9]
