Sony K Cheruvathur (born 26 August 1978) is an Indian first class cricketer.He was the captain of Kerala cricket team at Ranji Trophy cricket tournament.

Cheruvathur is a right-handed middle order batsman and right arm medium bowler.
Career
Sony K Cheruvathur lead Kerala cricket team at Ranji Trophy cricket tournament during the years 2007,2008 and 2012.[1].In 2008,Kerala finished third in the group and failed to reach the semifinals.Cheruvathur was called back to captain the Kerala cricket team for the 2012 Buchi Babu Tournament in Chennai.[2]
