Soul Link is a fictional series published by Navel, centering around a group of military cadets' adventure aboard a space hotel called Aries.

The series began as an Japanese adult visual novel video game for the Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 2. The game was released on 17 December, 2004. The series is also adapted into an 12-episode anime and a novel consists of two books.

A new game in the series, "Soul Link EXTENSION", was released in Japan on 29 June 2006 for the platform PlayStation 2. Whether it is a spinoff, sequel, or addition to the original series is unknown.

Plot

Template:Spoiler In AD 2045, a group of military cadets, attending the preparatory course of the Central Military Academy, proceeded for training aboard the space station Aries. Within this group of cadets were Royta Aizawa and his classmates including Nagase Sayaka and Nitta Kazuhiko. The situation gone sour when a group of terrorist group called Harallax assaulted the station. While the military successfully evacuated the station, they were trapped aboard the station. Worse still, the boarding assault left most of the military forces dead, effectively leaving the cadets on their own.

An unexpected twist occurs when a mysterious virus was released within the station, gaining control of almost every personnel and turning them into mindless creatures in the process. This forced everyone, friendly and foe alike, to start finding a way of getting out of the station alive.

10 迷走 Meisou Stray Cellaris's past is revealed. The military students make plans to leave the station.
10.5 特別回想編 (Special Recap Episode) Cellaria/Nanami Special recap. Flashback to Sayaka's childhood, and Cellaria's background story. This episode is not included in the count of total number of episodes.
11 哀悼 Aitō Mourning Aya manages to escape at the cost of Gale's life who ensures her safety.
12 旅路 Tabiji Journey With the station starting to burn up in the atmosphere of Earth, the rest of the crew commenced the evacuation of the station. The event shifted forward for 1 year, where everyone returned to their normal lives. Most characters' futures were revealed as well.
