Spark is the official student newspaper of the Victorian College of the Arts Student Union. It is published four times per year and is free to all Victorian College of the Arts students.[1]

Spark is also the official student newspaper of the Lakota East High School. The publication is run almost entirely by students of Lakota East High School. Spark sends out 7 issues a year.[2]

Spark Mag is also an online music and culture magazine featuring underground and radical artists. It was started as a collaboration between members of punk band Downtown Boys and grassroots advocacy organization Demand Progress.[3]
