Turkmenistan Sport (Turkmen: Türkmenistan Sport) is a Turkmenian sport TV channel of State Committee of Turkmenistan on TV, Radio and Film. Was aired on January 1, 2012 under the title "Sport".[3] Broadcast in the Turkmen language. The channel broadcasts all sports - football, hockey, basketball, figure skating, boxing, swimming, volleyball, and other sports.[4][5][6]

History

In early December 2011 at a government meeting, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree "for the widespread adoption of the country's principles of a healthy lifestyle, multiply thrust of youth to the sport, the conclusion of Turkmen sport at the international level" the creation of Turkmenistan channel Sport.[7]

Convenience TV is designed to promote the principles of a healthy way of life, to promote the development of mass sports movement and sport. Broadcast is ad-free.

The channel is broadcast their own championships Turkmenistan with professional journalists and commentators. In the summer of 2012, first broadcast all the matches of EURO 2012 and the 2012 Olympic Games, daily, live, in the Turkmen language.
