Stężyca [stɛ̃ˈʐɨt͡sa] (Kashubian Stãżëca, German Stendsitz) is a village in Kartuzy County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Stężyca.[1] It lies approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) south-west of Kartuzy and 48 km (30 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
