St Mary's Senior Football Club is an Australian rules football club in Greensborough, Victoria, currently competing in the Northern Football League.

History

The St.Mary's Senior football club was formed in 2009. The well-known St Mary's Junior Football Club had no senior affiliation thus one of the reasons as to why the club was formed. In its inaugarul season in 2009 the club fielded Division 2 Under 19's. In 2010 the club fielded a Senior team in the Division 3 competition thus becoming the 25th team in the NFL senior competition along with Under 19's who played in the Division 2 competition. In round 9 of 2010, St.Mary's fielded a reserves team for the first time. The start of the 2010 season was a disaster for St.Marys as they started with an embarrassing 172-point loss to Panton Hill. The woes continued for The Burra as they continuously lost games by substantial margins. At the half way mark of the season St.Marys were winless and sitting on the bottom of the Division 3 ladder. After that St.Marys started showing significant improving challenging most sides and almost coming away with wins. On 17 July 2010 in Round 14 St Marys Senior Football Club won their first senior game by defeating South Morang by a convincing 73 points. St Mary's got their hands on silverware in 2014 as the under 19's took out the Division 2 premiership defeating Hurstbridge by 22 points at Preston City Oval.

Jumper

When it came to choosing the jumper, the club opted not to go for the St Mary's Junior Football Club jumper instead they chose to keep the colours (Teal, Black and White) but have their own jumper made. This is what the St Mary's jumper looks like.
