Stephanoceras humphriesianum is an extinct species of Stephanoceratoid ammonites.[2]
Description
Stephanoceras humphriesianum has an evolute shell with well-developed ribbing and tubercles.
Distribution
Fossils of Stephanoceras humphriesianum are found in the Middle Jurassic marine strata of British Columbia, England and Germany.[1][3] The zone of Stephanoceras humphriesianum is an ammonite biozone of the Bajocian age, in the Tethys domain.
