Stephen Keith Lang[1] (March 24, 1949 – February 4, 2017)[2][3] was a Canadian musician best known for his role as a bassist in the rock band April Wine from 1976 to 1984.[4] Lang replaced then-bassist Jim Clench in 1976.[5][6] When April Wine reformed in 1993, Steve Lang was not amongst the line-up.[7]

After leaving April Wine, Lang was working in the financial field.[8]

Lang was born in Montreal, Quebec. He was the father of Canadian musician Erin Lang.[9][10][11]

At the time of his death, Lang reportedly suffered from Parkinson’s disease.[12]
