Stewart Brewing is a brewery based on the out-skirts of Edinburgh in Loanhead, Midlothian. It was established in 2004 by Steve Stewart and is an independent brewery.
Stewart Brewing is dedicated to brewing hand crafted premium beer and aims to uphold the tradition and reputation of Edinburgh's great brewing history in a modern and innovative way.
Stewart Brewing brews contemporary beers to unique recipies in small batches, which are available in the finest real ale pubs in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife, the Borders and Glasgow and they are still expanding.
Stewart Brewing cask beers are also available direct to the customer to enjoy at home from their brewery shop.
Their current cask beer range includes:
Pentland IPA,
Copper Cascade,
Edinburgh No.3,
Stewart's 80/- and
Edinburgh Gold, there are however special one off brews on a regular basis.
Stewart Brewing also has a range of bottled beers which were launched at the end of 2009 and can be found in many independent retailers and restaurants in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
Their bottled beer range includes:
Embra,
Edinburgh Gold,
St. Giles and
The award winning Hollyrood, which won the World's Best Blonde Golden Pale Ale at the World Beer Awards 2010.[1]
Stewart's Dopplebock and Pilsen were brewed to start a premium bottle range in spring/summer 2010.
