  • 1981 - Stockbridge Varsity Wrestling Team; 10-0; first team in Stockbridge HS history to go undefeated (Coach Steve Lynn and Coach Bob Miller)
  • 1983 - AAA State Wrestling Champ Keith Collier (100 lb); the first State Champ
  • 2001 - AAAAA Wrestling Team produced four state placers: 119 lb Adam Easey (1st), 140 lb Jesse Millwood (2nd), 103 lb Trent Mahffey (3rd), and 125 lb Courtney Arnold (4th)
  • 2006 - AAAA State Elite Eight, boys' tennis
  • 2007 - AAAA Traditional and Team duals state champions, first and only state championship team in school history having six placers: Jose Paz 215 lb (champion), Nathan Allen 125 lb (runner-up), Shane Mcgraw 103 lb (3rd), Gio Graham 171 lb (4th), Randy Salmon 285 lb (4th), and Ben Jones 160 lb (5th)
  • 2013 - Football Varsity State Championships; Stockbridge High School beat Union Grove HS (49-6); MVP players Malique Dunn (1TD), Martel Waugh (19 QB Sacks), Deontae Pierce (5 TD), with Martel Waugh as his assigned blocker
